This new electric motor is perfect for installing into M-03 & M-04 chassis to participate in official Tamiya races. It provides more torque than the normal 540 type motor, and can sustain its high performance for long durations. This motor is also compatible with touring car chassis and is a great upgrade for beginner drivers to let them gradually adjust to higher performance motors.

Perhaps I was just expecting a little too much from this motor but I really hoped it was going to be ball raced and able to be rebuilt but it is a crimped can and therefore difficult to open. The performance is ok but offers very little over a standard tamiya silver can. After only a few runs I have just replaced this motor with a tamiya rs540 sport tuned motor which seems better in every way and cheaper.
Works like a charm in my Axial SCX-10
