These spray paints were developed especially for decorating transparent polycarbonate bodies used in R/C car modelling. Each can contains 100ml of paint, which is the appropriate amount for finishing the model. Paint the body from the inside, keeping the can about 30cm from the surface. After curing apply another coat as necessary. These paints are impervious to oil and fuels, so they can be safely used on gas-powered R/C bodies. Note: This paint is only suitable for use on Polycarbonate. Do not use on plastic model kits.
Painted my HPI GT40 shell, backed it in black to give a deep purple. Looks great.

I have always found Tamiya paints to be of a consistently high quality and this can of PS-18 was no exception. I backed it with PS-48 Semi Gloss Anodised Silver and then a final coat of PS-5 Black and I am very pleased with the result! When using rattle cans to paint RC bodies some people recommend leaving the can in warm water for ten minutes before use, this is said to make the paint flow better and spray finer. I have always done this and got great results.
Really good coverage, more then enough for a 1/8 buggy size even though its a tiny tin! Really pleased with the finish.
