These spray paints were developed especially for decorating transparent polycarbonate bodies used in R/C car modelling. Each can contains 100ml of paint, which is the appropriate amount for finishing the model. Paint the body from the inside, keeping the can about 30cm from the surface. After curing apply another coat as necessary. These paints are impervious to oil and fuels, so they can be safely used on gas-powered R/C bodies.
Spray an even coat of the Iridescent paint first, allow to dry, then spray a backing coat of PS-5 Black spray paint (required to be purchased seperately).
Note: The Iridescent effect will not work without applying the black backing coat.
*This paint is only suitable for use on Polycarbonate. Do not use on plastic model kits.
Sprays on clear and hard to gauge coverage and makes you wonder if its going to give the expected finish. Once you spray a black backing coat, the full glorious effect pops like no other paint. Fantastic paint finish!!!
This colour is great but it is a clear coat. You need to back it with black. And hold a black bag behind it to check it’s even. It doesn’t run if you give it light coats

Not as easy to use as the normal Tamiya stuff, theres definitely a 'knack' to using this stuff but when i used it the paint ran really badly (it seems very thin and is difficult to see it as it's almost clear). I ended up trashing my bodyshell in the end :(
Really great effect, But be warned only spray fine coat and let dry fully before recoating or runs will happen. trust me on this because I got a did eager first time I used this paint bad move

Incredible looking paint and very easy to spray, Looks superb and as good as a factory paint job, Needs to be backed with a couple of coats of black to finish. Painted one of my drift racers with this and it looks really good as the light and angles change as you drift around the track.
