The battery expansion kit from Traxxas allows the installation of larger format battery packs into the Velineon powered Rustler VXL, Bandit VXL, and Stampede VXL. The package includes hardware to raise the electronic speed control mount and battery posts by 13mm providing clearance for taller LiPo battery packs. Features:

perfect fit, does the job well. Bit pricey though.
Does what it is meant to, very easy to install if your old screws aren't rusted in place so i would recommend if you are considering larger batteries which are defiantly worth it! However the cooling fan, also a must have for larger batteries does not fit on properly with this, it is to close to the body. I would have thought traxxas would have accounted for this issue but they havn't. So if you have a cooling fan or want one, just a quick heads up as i didn't know until i found out myself.
Easy fit, and does what it says. 3s Lipos now easy in my Rustler.
