The impeccable health status of many species enabled the planning and execution of fitting monitoring aids/collars on chosen animal species. Hirolas, elephants and a rare white reticulated giraffe were all collared during the month, enabling KWS to track animal movements, to aid protection and enhance learnings. During the month the Meru Vet Unit also treated a lion for an eye injury.
