In Bouralghy Conservancy, Garissa we removed a snare from a giraffe’s leg and treated the debilitating injuries caused by the snare. In Naibunga Conservancy, Laikipia we treated an elephant bull which showed severe lameness. In Dertu, Garissa County, over several days, we investigated an outbreak of an unknown disease which caused mortality in reticulated giraffe.
