The SWT/KWS Rift Valley Mobile Veterinary Unit attended to 20 cases during March 2023. Most of these cases, 14 in total, were related to poaching - predominantly snaring victims. There were two cases related to human – wildlife conflict, three cases attributed to natural causes and one case was an autopsy involving what had been a gravely ill elephant cow.
