This was one of our most recent patients: a young adult bull who had been shot with a poisoned arrow.
Fortunately, help arrived in time. Roan spotted him during an aerial patrol, and the SWT/KWS Southern Vet Unit mobilised immediately. After darting the patient, the team cleaned the wound and packed it with pessaries to expedite healing.
Treatment complete, the bull woke up and rejoined his friends, who were waiting nearby. Thanks to this swift intervention, he is expected to make a full recovery.
