Classic Cream Toffee Chocolates

Classic Cream Toffee Chocolates

Often, a toffee is just a toffee; we unwrap it, let it melt on our tongue, look for another. But sometimes our candy comes with history—like these chocolate-coated toffees, representing over a hundred years of one man’s tiny candy business, now international! Gottfrid Eklund worked out of a rented kitchen, made everything by hand, and went on foot to sell it to smaller shops around Sweden! This candy has soft, sweet caramel centers, wrapped in a decadent chocolate.

Ingredients: Sugar, Glucose Syrup, Sweetened Condensed Milk, Cocoa Butter, Vegetable Oils (Rapeseed, Coconut), Cocoa Mass, Whole Milk Powder, Skim Milk Powder, Lactose, Whey, Milkfat, Emulsifiers (Mono- And Diglycerides, Acacia Gum, Soy Lecithin, PGPR), Salt, Shellac (Glazing Agent), Vanillin. CONTAINS: MILK, SOY. May contain traces of wheat.

We ate these two at a time!

Really nice chewy treats!

Chocolate covered toffee bits. Nice but not unusual or very flavorful.

Tasty chewy little bites

These remind me of milk duds, but neither the chocolate nor the toffee are that flavorful. A plus is they don’t get stuck in your teeth like some toffee/caramel does.

I’m not a huge fan of caramel, but these chocolate covered caramels were pretty good.
