Pandan Cream-Filled Layer Cake

Pandan Cream-Filled Layer Cake

Pandan is often referred to as ‘the Vanilla of the East!’ This layer sponge cake is fluffy and delicious, with an airiness from the sponge and an earthiness from the pandan that balance each other perfectly. It’s the perfect sweet-but-not-too-sweet treat to have alongside a cup of coffee or tea, highlighting the flavors in your drink of choice.

Ingredients: Wheat Flour, Sugar, Egg, Pandan Leaves Extract, Palm Oil, Skim Milk Powder, Cornstarch, Sorbitol, Fructose, Palm Shortening Oil (Palm Oil Fractions, Mono- And Diglycerides, Soy Lecithin, Ascorbyl Palmitate (Preservative), Mixed Tocopherols), Glycerin, Leavening (Baking Powder, Sodium Bicarbonate), Salt, Artificial Flavors, Soy Lecithin, Potassium Sorbate (Preservative), Yellow 5, Blue 1. CONTAINS: MILK, EGG, WHEAT, SOY. Contains sulfites.

This was my favorite from Indonesia! Sweet, fluffy cake with hints of coconut and almond. I had never heard of pandan before and now I LOVE it.

This cake is good with slight pistachio and vanilla flavor.

Great flavor and so soft

beware—you’ll either like this or HATE it. to me and my bf, the flavor was so awful and fragrant it tasted like paint or something worse. still enjoyed trying something new, but not for me!

It’s dry and doesn’t taste like anything. The cream portion is also very small.

The vanilla/floral flavor combined with the coconut cream filling was OK, but the cake itself was dry.
