These ‘kettle-cut’ chips are designed to be so crunchy that, when you bite into one, everyone in a twenty yard radius looks up from their phone. Misophones might disapprove, but the earthy truffle notes and sprinkling of sea salt make these crunchy, aromatic chips well worth a few annoyed stares. They’re designed for aperitivo hour – the Italian afternoon snack and drink ritual – so pour a crisp white wine or refreshing limonata to complete the experience.
Ingredients: Potato, Sunflower Oil, Seasoning (Rice Flour, Sea Salt, Natural Flavors, Garlic Powder, Summer Truffle (Tuber Aestivum), Spices).
These were a pleasant surprise. I’ve tried other truffle flavored snack, and they usually taste like your eating dirt. NOT THESE. These have a mild truffle flavor. Compliments the potato very well.
I usually prefer salty snack foods over sugary ones and these were no different. The flavoring is definitely unique, and not for everyone, but I really liked that it was something different.
These were a 10 out of 10 for me. If you like truffle flavor and you like potato chips, you’ll love these. They were damn good.
I gave them a chance and my body said, “Nooooo!!”
I am definitely not a fan of that “earthy” flavor. I ate a handful and threw the rest away.
