The design of the WEAPON L4 Carbon Fiber Litepro Fourspoke Wheel was inspired by the throwing stars (shuriken) used by Japanese ninjas. Their main objective was to complete tasks at the fastest speed possible. These weapons were selected by ninjas for their ease of concealment, agility, and significant destructive power, making them their standard weapons of choice.
This specific model is designed for track and road racing, making it suitable for time trials, triathlons, and other speed competitions.
To maximize aerodynamic performance, the L4 fourspoke features a 55mm rim depth paired with a 25mm outer width. Its monocoque construction is incredibly lightweight, weighing only 810g. Compared to a three-spoke wheel, the four-spoke design offers enhanced overall optimization. The spokes are shaped like water droplets, with a strong leading edge that cuts through the air, while the trailing edge helps control airflow.
Combine it with WEAPON’s D1 / D2 disc rear wheel for the ultimate aerodynamic advantage.
