We offer private server racks of up to 55U in our data centers. Use a dedicated server rack for larger server numbers or if you've got specific needs.
Each of our private racks comes equipped with five leaf-switches:
Our private server racks have power capacity up to 11kW, automatic transfer switches, and 24-socket PDUs. We have power capacity schemes with two 7.3kW power feeds per rack, and with two 11kW feeds per rack.
You can install your own servers and network equipment in a private rack.
Each leaf-switch in both, the public and the private networks, can have up to four 40 Gbps uplinks, totaling 160 Gbps per switch.
Private racks come with private leaf-switches for better network security.
All automation features available for servers placed in shared racks are also available for servers in private racks through our customer portal.
You'll be able to order and cancel private racks in our self-service customer portal. In our portal, move your servers between private and shared racks; see analysis of your power consumption and traffic use.
