MRPS – Guanacaste Air Park

Tucked into the dry forests and rolling hills of Guanacaste, not far from the Pacific beaches and the tourist hub of Tamarindo, Guanacaste Air Park is one of those quiet private strips that rewards pilots who enjoy getting off the beaten path. Low elevation, open approaches and the typical dry-season landscape of the northwest make it a pleasant and straightforward place to operate light aircraft.
The short runway sits in open terrain with good visibility in all directions. Nothing extreme — just the kind of flying that feels natural once you’re established on final. Light singles and twins can operate here comfortably, with enough margin for a relaxed arrival or departure.
This X-Plane 12 scenery was built with custom-modeled objects and hand-crafted textures, moving past the generic look of default scenery to get you closer to what you’d actually find flying into this corner of Guanacaste. Worth adding to the logbook.

- Location: Santa Cruz area, Guanacaste — near the Pacific coast and Tamarindo
- Approach: open terrain, good visibility, straightforward VFR operations
1. Copy `MRPS_Guanacaste_Air_Park_PVFR` (or the folder name included in the download) to your `X-Plane/Custom Scenery` folder.
