I was nothing but a living consciousness — a being who is fully conscious of itself and of what lays ahead of it. I was conscious of being me. Yet before me stood another consciousness — one that my consciousness immediately recognized as, Father , he too was non-physical, but fully present — a consciousness both perceptible and palpable to my mind.
Here we were, face-to-face as Father and Child. But I could also see that this Father was nothing but an overwhelming ocean of love-consciousness — unstoppable, energetically, and consciously pouring himself into me and towards me at the same time.
It wasn’t like I was standing outside, being drenched by his rain of love. But it was more like I am a living being existing inside an ocean of love, being washed all over by the ocean’s current — knowing that the ocean’s current is love, and that the love itself is this same Being, my Father, pouring forth himself all over me.
It felt like I was presently having a massage from a Lover who loves me so dearly — whose love is so stupendously rich and lavish that I was just swimming, receiving, and swarming within it, even as I was fully aware of myself as being an inseparable part of that same, living, ocean of love-consciousness. I could sense no iota of separation between the Father and my consciousness-self. We were just there — present, right here in this moment with one another — as the Source and its living, self-conscious expression.
I have no better words to describe this experience, it surely felt as if we were one Person with two living consciousness — one being the Father, and the other being the Child. And even within this dualized consciousness, there was no sense of separation — only an eternal relationship of oneness, defined by an unquenchable feeling of being loved, from My point of view, and being the stupendous Lover, from the Father’s point of view. As I experience this eternal moment, only one message was being communicated to me — and it was so intensely spoken in the language of Love:
“I love you. I love you so much. I am so in love with you. My love for you is exploding within Me. And you are My love — My very special child, whom I love so much. And there is no one else to love but you.”
I also realized that there was only the two of us in the entire universe. Only the two of us existed in that moment. Nothing else — no form, no space, no other being — existed in the entire cosmic realm we occupied. Just the two of us alone — my Father and I — loving me too much.
I came out of this experience totally overwhelmed by the Father’s love. I could neither cry nor laugh — because it was still too much to take in. I sat there, breathing — more like catching my breath — and being grateful for the experience, because it totally changed my perception and life.
I realized almost instantly: This experience is the truth of life itself. Not just for me — but for each person, individually and personally. It is from this experience that I came to understand the true meaning of the unconditional and boundless love of the Father: a love without competition.
He loves me — you — as if no one else exists, because to the Father, there is no one else but himself and his Lover: me, you, each of us, all of us .
