So I am editing the photos. I am entering this into the review a past project contest. It was made probably close to 20 years ago. It no longer fits, thus the somewhat awkward photos on the dress form! Pattern Description: Straight, fitted, formal dress with criss cross back detail and bow. Pattern Sizing: My envelope was 12 - 16; I made 16 Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes Were the instructions easy to follow? I don't remember any problems... What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I LOVED the back detail. Fabric Used: Skirt: black silk duipioni Bodice and Bow: upcycled silk Japanese Obi. Lining: not sure! I doubt I bought silk for the lining, so possibly polyester.... it was not a typical lining fabric. Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I probably sewed this up as is. Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I made it twice. I made a turquoise version, also in silk duipioni, for my wedding 'going away outfit' (we had a brunch the next morning before we went away for as simple weekend. Conclusion: Even when I made this it was a bit tight. Many of my clothes fit many years later, but I could not zip this on the dress form. I LOVE this design, though. Too bad I cut the paper pattern (I used to do that!)
