We reached out to our resident expert at Trodat, Mr. Steven Vogel, to learn a bit more that we could share with you. It turns out that the Z-Style is tailored for maximum compatibility with flash machines used worldwide and includes a trim ring. The use of the trim ring does result in a slightly smaller imprint area, with the 305Z coming in at 10mm vs. the 305S which offers a 13mm impression. At Simply Stamps, we use the latest MaxLight 6XL-12H flash machine, which is the optimal machine to flash both versions of the XL-305. Both models feature a snap-on dust cover for protection and an ergonomic design aimed at maximizing comfort and accuracy while stamping.
