TN Delegates at the 57th LWVUS Biannual Convention 2026
The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan volunteer organization that encourages citizens to become i nformed and active participants in our government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.

Wiliamson County Main Public Library
We were proud to have four of our volunteers at the the Franklin Library, Main Branch on National Voter Registration Day.
We had another successful event at the Williamson County Main library on July 22nd. Our volunteers spoke to more than 50 adults about early voting and voting locations. We checked their registration, and we made a sample ballot available. We also had 89 kids who for their favorite dinosaur. T Rex won with 39 votes. Many thanks to our volunteers!
Members of the LWVWmCo TN were at work educating voters at the Franklin Main Library last Wednesday. They had 72 kids who voted for their favorite dinosaur as well as lots of interaction with adults about new districts and the primary. Thanks Stephanie, Jennifer, Sheila, and Cynthia.
We were well represented at the Convention. TN had 13 delegates. Our league sent 3 deligates, including Staci and Renee photographed here.

Thank you to our 6 volunteers who worked at the Juneteenth Celebration. They collected 10 names of people interested in learning more about the League.

The home of Dorinda Smith
We had an excellent turnout for our business meeting and social today. The food was delicious and the conversation was lively. The budget passed and the two board members were unanimously elected.
