Type or paste an mRNA or DNA sequence and every codon in it is highlighted on the wheel and listed in a codon-to-amino-acid table. Lowercase letters, spaces and FASTA headers are ignored, and T is read as U so DNA sequences work too.
Read the three bases of a codon from the inside of the wheel outwards: the first base picks one of the four inner quarters, the second base narrows it to one of sixteen segments, and the third base lands on one of the 64 outer segments, which is labelled with its amino acid.
