The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the architecture design and successful delivery of SAP Ariba solutions for strategic customer engagements. This role requires deep expertise in SAP Ariba strong advisory and stakeholder management capability and extensive experience in designing integrated procurement and sourcing solutions across SAP S/4HANA SAP ECC and non-SAP environments. The SAP Ariba Architect will act as a trusted advisor to customers support pre-sales and business development initiatives provide architectural leadership across projects and drive best practice in solution design and delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead the architecture and solution design of SAP Ariba solutions across complex customer engagements. Work closely with customers sales teams business development teams project managers and delivery teams to translate business requirements into scalable and high-quality SAP Ariba solutions. Act as the solution and design authority for SAP Ariba projects ensuring alignment to business objectives architecture principles and industry best practices. Lead customer workshops and strategic discussions with senior business and technical stakeholders. Support pre-sales bid responses solution shaping estimation and statement of work creation. Provide strategic thought leadership in procurement transformation SAP Ariba roadmap adoption and intelligent spend management. Ensure successful integration of SAP Ariba solutions into broader enterprise landscapes including SAP S/4HANA SAP ECC and third-party applications. Identify opportunities to extend customer engagements and support business growth across the NTT DATA Business Solutions portfolio. Mentor consultants and junior architects contributing to practice capability development and knowledge sharing. Stay current with SAP innovation SAP Ariba product developments and market trends. Functional and Solution Expertise The successful candidate should demonstrate strong architecture and delivery expertise across the following areas: SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing SAP Ariba Sourcing SAP Ariba Contracts SAP Ariba Supplier Management SAP Ariba Source-to-Pay processes Direct and Indirect Procurement Supplier lifecycle management and supplier collaboration Procurement transformation and process optimization Advantageous experience includes: SAP SRM SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA procurement and sourcing processes Goods Receipt Service Entry Sheet / Service Confirmation Invoice and Accounts Payable processes Integration between SAP Ariba and SAP ERP landscapes Skills and Competencies Excellent communication consulting and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage credibly at senior leadership level. Ability to influence advise and build trusted relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Strong solution architecture capability with proven experience resolving complex business and technical challenges. Strong leadership presence integrity accountability and sound judgement. Ability to operate effectively in complex fast-paced and evolving project environments. Commercial awareness with the ability to support business development and identify customer growth opportunities. Passion for continuous learning innovation and staying ahead of market and technology trends. Commitment to mentoring coaching and developing others within the practice. Experience 14 years of overall professional experience with significant experience in SAP consulting and SAP Ariba solution delivery. Proven experience in SAP Ariba architecture solution design and implementation leadership. Demonstrable experience delivering multiple end-to-end project lifecycles in complex enterprise environments. Strong background in customer-facing consulting solution advisory and stakeholder engagement. Experience supporting pre-sales proposals solution shaping and business development activities. Experience working in a consulting systems integrator or value-added reseller environment is highly desirable.
